Samantha is taking part in a play called ‘Vicuña’, which begins on october 23rd and runs until november 20th 2016.

A tailor to the wealthy, powerful, and famous struggles to serve a very unusual client: a blustering real estate tycoon and reality TV star who—to everyone’s surprise—becomes a major party’s nominee for President. As the election spins out of control, the tailor and his apprentice are forced to examine their roles as confidants and image-makers for the candidate…and whether the right suit has the power to clinch the presidency. The World premiere of this hot-off-the-presses satire from Jon Robin Baitz (Other Desert Cities) offers a unique opportunity for a play to participate in our nation’s political discourse as it unfolds.

TV Line: GA Season 13 Poster Puts (Half of) Meredith Front and Center

ga_s13
Meredith is about to turn Grey’s Anatomy — or at least Seattle — on its side! At least that’s one potential takeaway from the ABC drama’s Season 13 poster.
The official one-sheet (exclusively obtained by TVLine and embedded for your viewing pleasure below) features Ellen Pompeo‘s indefatigable heroine literally split in half, with the right side of her body replaced by the iconic Seattle skyline.

In a bit of a departure from years past, the striking, turquoise-tinged image is not accompanied by a tagline, leaving the artwork wide open to interpretation. Another possible inference: In the new season, which gets underway on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 8/7c, Mer will find herself torn about whether to embark on her first serious post-McDreamy relationship with Nathan (Martin Henderson) in the wake of the duo’s no-strings tryst at the end of Season 12.

Should Mer decide to throw caution to the wind and give love another shot, one thing is clear — Nathan will never be Derek. “There will only be one McDreamy ever,” Pompeo maintained to TVLine last spring. “You know, he’s not replaceable.”

ExtraTV.com: Chandra Wilson & Jason George Tease Meredith’s Future in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13

During the TCA Summer Press Tour, “Extra’s” Renee Bargh sat down with “Grey’s Anatomy” stars Chandra Wilson and Jason George, who dished on the premiere episode of the upcoming thirteenth season.

Season 12 was a tough one for Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo. When asked if Meredith is going to catch a break this season, Chandra responded, “Maybe it’ll be the year of exciting things.”

Though Season 13 hasn’t aired, the poster for the season is causing quite the stir among fans, who creator Shonda Rhimes said were overanalyzing things. Shonda eventually took to Twitter to reiterate there is no hidden meaning behind the poster. As for their own interpretation of the poster, Jason said, “Look, I’ve learned… don’t go against Shonda Rhimes. If she says it doesn’t mean anything, then it doesn’t mean anything.”

“Grey’s Anatomy” returns September 22 on ABC.

Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on Grey’s Anatomy

Question: Please tell me we haven’t see the last of Penny on Grey’s Anatomy. She became my favorite this season.
Ausiello: Seeing as how she and Callie are sort of a package deal, I can confirm that we’ve seen the last of Penny. For now, anyway. Shonda Rhimes left the door wide open for Sara Ramirez to make the occasional guest appearance as Callie shuttles Sophia back and forth between New York and Seattle, and I suppose Penny — and her portrayer Samantha Sloyan — could tag along on one of those trips. I wouldn’t hold my breath, though.

Grey’s Anatomy Is a Much Better Show Than It Gets Credit For

Perhaps more than any other show on TV today, Grey’s Anatomy is the one that, when you mention it, practically forces conversationalists to reply, “That show is still on?” I’ve seen it happen countless times, to myself and to the dedicated troop of people I know who still watch the show without fail every week. The question is always asked with its condescension not just intact but proudly on display; there is steel in the detractors’ voices, a surety that something so populist, so long-running must have long ago caved to an inevitable decline in quality or relevance.

But nothing could be more wrong. In fact, Grey’s Anatomy’s quality has strengthened and deepened over time — as a result, it has seen a ratings surge in its current season, which ends this Thursday — and its supposed frivolity is one of the great myths of our current viewing era.

The article is very long, so you can read the rest http://www.vulture.com/2016/05/greys-anatomy-is-a-better-show-than-it-gets-credit-for.html?mid=twitter-share-vulture.
